CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT:
The doctor of chiropractic is a specialist in spinal musculoskeletal disorders. He or she is expertly trained to diagnose and treat the many musculoskeletal injuries that may occur on the job or in your daily life.

Upon injury, the individual often alters the normal position or flexibility of the spinal vertebrae. Chiropractic treatment is designed to restore normal alignment and thus minimize pain and suffering. Gentle manipulative therapy or “adjustment” is often effective in rapidly returning the injured person to a productive status. The doctor of chiropractic can also provide guidance with advice designed to reduce work-related injuries, proper lifting procedures and therapeutic stretching exercises.
WORKER’S COMPENSATION:
Worker injuries, including “pulled muscles” are often not properly diagnosed immediately following an injury, and can often cause severe damage to the nerves, ligaments, discs, and joints of the spine. Our office is Worker’s Comp certified and able to treat work related injuries.

Did you know that those with Worker’s Compensation Claims must be treated within a designated time period? If you are not treated, your claim may become inactive.

AUTO ACCIDENTS:
Impact injuries even at low speeds can often cause severe damage to the joints of the body, or damage surrounding muscles and ligaments. Do not wait too long to seek treatment or you might not be able to get the treatment you need.

HEALTH INSURANCE/SPORTS RELATED INJURIES:

A HEALTHY SPINAL JOINT

Your spine is made up of several joints, allowing bones (vertebrae) to move. Bones generally glide smoothly when joints are aligned correctly. The cushions between the joints are discs. Ligaments and muscles support and connect the bones.

AN UNHEALTHY SPINAL JOINT

Unhealthy spinal joints don't function properly. If ligaments and muscles supporting the joints are stretched or torn, or if the discs become bulged, ruptured, or worn down, the joints become misaligned. This causes the spinal cord and the nerves that branch from it to become irratated, causing pain.
